Robin Lee MIET MCSE:Security

Here you can read a bit about me and what I do for a living.

I'm qualified as MCSE: Security on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. I'm also an MCSA on Windows Server 2003 and an RSA SecurID Certified Systems Engineer. I have been a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology since 2003. During 2008 I worked on a multi-million pound NT migration, Exchange 5.5 migration and total infrastructure replacement programme. I was responsible for validating the designs, specifically for Active Directory, Exchange 2003 and file & print servers. Now I'm involved with day-to-day support and project work, dealing with partners, suppliers, vendors and other third parties, writing documentation and so on.

System Administrator Appreciation Day

A system administrator or sysadmin takes care of all kinds of stuff.
Networks, telephony, servers, storage all need to be installed, configured and maintained.
Sysadmins often take care of security, and are on call out of office hours in case anything goes wrong.
The last Friday of July is System Administrator Appreciation Day. Click on the banner below to learn more.
